Sorry for the long delay in coming here, but these last weeks have been hectic; no, I’m not talking about the financial/economic crisis, though you're talking Money, Money… ;))
Mamma Mia came out when I was spending lots of time in NYC, but was of the few musicals I didn't see; maybe 16 years later... But after a brilliant Wagner's Siegfried last Thursday, I don't think I'll try the Abba in the near future... ;))
Meanwhile Blogtrotter is now on its 200th post: «The Libyan Sea»! Hope you enjoy! Have a great weekend!
GilGMGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06775262251208390861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6467208927530359310.post-83834786425766316122008-10-10T22:43:00.000+03:002008-10-10T22:43:00.000+03:00I have not yet seen Mama Mia. It was so good even though I was suffering with tooth problems because I had a root canal just a couple of weeks before we left on the trip and then had to have a second one when we reached San Diego. I really enjoyed Mamma Mia inspite of the pain! My husband was worried I wouldn't but the chance to actually get him to a play that has been on Broadway was something I wasn't going to pass up. He loves Abba's music so it wasn't hard to convince him to buy tickets to the show. Once while visiting Germany the summer after the Berlin wall came down, we took a drive into a small town in easter Germany. Lots of people were gathered in the town square for a celebration and a band was playing that sounded and looked almost exactly like Abba. Almost no one spoke English in this little village and they wondered why we were there but we stayed for the whole evening and enjoyed the music and the brats as if we were meant to be there! I love that your blog is so diverse and brings me memories of our travels!!Sandi Linn Andersenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15275591320281892830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6467208927530359310.post-77108700699958059512008-10-10T14:40:00.000+03:002008-10-10T14:40:00.000+03:00I've only seen the movie, and it was WOW!!!I've only seen the movie, and it was WOW!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
