A Day Of Smiles

Today, can we talk about the ''beauty''?

Well, what does it mean to you?

To me; beauty is the harmony of mind, body and so
ul. Beauty goes beyond finding its essence in our innerself. It's all about self-expression; individuality through our unique lifestyle and personality, a reflection of harmony between our mind, body and soul.

With
the synergy of advanced technology;) I met someone wonderful, who's really generous and very kind hearted, Cherri, from Texas. She is so special one if you ask me. Why? Even though it's hard to summarize her in a few sentences here, this enough to introduce her: she wants nothing more then for people to feel loved and included. Additionally, she says that everyone is warm with a quilt, literally and figuratively.

You may step into the world of Cherri, who's with nearly twenty years of quilting experience, where her art flirts beauty, and where talent and quality combine to create the art of quilting. So firstly try to find some time yourself, as her page lots of goodies, and even browsing such a delight at least for your eyes;)

I'm so excited I won:) I won a few of the Cherri's giveaways!

Here are my New Three Books, one by one:

(1) Thinking Outside the Block: Book of Sandi Cummings. Teaches to moving up to simple 'transition' units that offer a bridge into the world of contemporary quiltmaking.

(2) New Wave Quilt I: The Japanese artist Setsuko Segawa has selected fifteen American quiltmakers whose work she admires. This book crosses international boundaries to present some of the very best that the Art Quilt movement has to offer. See now a few pages, how infused with the creative spirit:

~Robe for a Dragonrider

~Riverside in Late Autumn

(3) New Wave Quilt II: The Japanese artist Setsuko Segawa introduces the work of top artists from eight countries -not only the US but also Canada, Australia, Japan, UK, France, Germany and Switzerland. I can easily see that each work conveys the artists' deep feeling towards the Art Quilt. What a wonderful contribution to further cultural exchanges and development of modern art in a collection like this, see sample pages:

~Cobble-Stones

~Star-Windows

-Thinking of my future hobby (quilt) projects, sad to say not for the time being, as I'm terribly busy at work- They will be any help for me when making the finest quilts because they guarantee to create astonishing results combined with artful design. What can I say any more, s.i.m.p.l.y. ...

Did you like this card? It's also a Free-a-Bee by Cherri! You can have some fun with these kind of precious cards that her daughter Lizzy created, see Salutations by LizzyHouse.

Cherri,
you express your inner beauty on the outside,
throu
gh your unique personality,
and encourage us to shine.

Warm Hugs:)

I truly believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If we look at things with the right frame of mind, we will see beauty.
