And, it's school time again. The elementary and high schools opened here on Monday, Sept 8th. It's also my favorite time of year. New teachers, new friends, new shoes, new notebooks, maybe a new school, and so pretty to see those mini-mini pupils everywhere on the roads and at bookstores as well. Everything is shiny and new, and everyone is very excited about starting a new year.
Gossip Girl, the U.S. teen drama starts its new season tonight on CNBC-e, and I'm unashamedly soooooo excited:) Who doesn't love a little gossip;)

September is here
School's begun.
September, unlike any other
Holds you tight, in any weather
Changes come, no matter where you go.
September is beautiful
And awesome all the same
It's hope for the future and the change
Come swiftly as we sweep away.
September is here
The leaves change and fall
As the Summer leaves and Autumn kisses us all.
The sapphire skies live on
Through out this wonderful September.

My sweet grandson just started fourth grade. He tells me that he isn't one of the little kids anymore. That makes him happy. It makes me nostalgic.
ReplyDeleteHello Nihal:)
ReplyDeleteIs September the start of a new school term? We have it here in January, I find it odd that it start when the year is ending... Over here, most children will have their long break from mid November and start next year only.
Hope you are keeping well.
much love and hugs always
School supplies are in the stores. I'm long out of school but I so enjoy new pencils, a spiral notebook, a brand new box of crayons. It isn't only the little kids in those aisles at the store.
