So Exciting Pops & Bits

-
It's in the simple things in life we find joy. Life's sweet, simple things in life we often forget. I find myself blessed with all these simple things this October... simple things that I take for granted. Here they are:

[ PINK SWEETNESS ]

} The very pink of perfection.
..

{FIND IT}

- Pink is compassion and elegance and a young lady with silk folding fan in an authentic zen garden where enjoying cherry blossoms in spring: My travel to Japan.

- Pink is the simple joy lies in these hang-clothes moments that color laundry line between summer and fall, winter and spring: My clothespins.

- Pink is to give personality:
Andy Warhol's fine Pink Shoe lithograph as hand-colored done in the 1950's, and my discover all of his art that's a really one big diary.

It comes from an exhibition of Andy Warhol at the Palazzo Incontro in Rome early this year beginning in January that I visited; paintings, drawings, silk screen prints, photographs, films and sculptures. Pop artist Andy was a painter, a photographer, a film maker, even a magazine entrepreneur.

- Pink is the sweetness and softness in my wardrobe: My sweater.

[ PINK + GREEN SWEETNESS ]

} The great harmonization of pink and green...

{FIND IT}

- Pink is the first awakening in a sunrise symphony, and to enjoy the taste of coffee on the tip of my tongue: My favorite cup.

- Pink is to say ''I'll never forget you!''
: A delight in its richness with only two colors and detailing, this earrings of nature-inspired glamour is a gift by my friend. Perfect for cuddling up in as summer ends and fall arrives.

- Pink is a wedding... a crayon... a piece of art on the rock: Hand-painted rock with carnation figure by me acts as a paper weight on my desk, and even a pretty décor item on the wall.

- Pink is a sweet simple joy found growing in my balcony: Geranium for a few short days in October, heralding the change of season!

[TO LIVE BY] I'm in love with these two hues, and I especially adore the combination of pink and green as we used to see them together so often in the nature. I think they both would work so well to brighten up an outfit or room.

Isn't it the sweet simple things of life which are real ones after all. May your life be filled with the simple things that bring joy to you!

  13. I love pink and green and, of course, I love all colors but pink is special because it reminds me of my music teacher, Mrs. Parr. She was my school music teacher from kindergarten all the way through the 12 grade. In 9th grade I began taking private voice lessons from her and they were at her home - which was pink! It was pink on the outside and on the inside, in every room. And it was lovely, just like she was. So in our new house, I have a pink bedroom that makes me think of her and across the hall is a pale green bedroom so the two compliment one another. And then there's the pink bathroom! Pink is a color that makes me think SMILES. Thanks for the smile today!
