You...

-
... work harder and harder, earn enough to comfortably pay your bills, travel so often, buy many things, or might make less money, spend less and live rather simply?

I'd like to discuss who is richer in the end?

  2. This picture gives me the feeling of fall in New England, USA.

Money does not create happiness per say, but certain comforts one needs is essential for basic happiness. If you look at the world, it is very obvious to me that "some have it" and "some don't". As long as there is that divide, there can never be true peace and justice in our hearts and in the world. Most of the time, those who have it do not question how they do? But those who don't dwell on it day and night! :)

    Such as life!

  3. Working at something you enjoy would help make the best of both. I always feel I have enough but then again my needs are pretty simple.

I agree with the previous poster, as long as there is a great divide there will be conflict.

  4. A person's wealth does not show you their heart. A person may be either rich or poor in possessions, but the goodwill to their fellow man is what brings them true happiness. What you give always comes back to you.

  5. I do not have to have lots of money to be rich but I do want to have enough money for food, shelter and clothing. I am blessed to have those things. I am also blessed to have the warmth of friendship from many friends near and far that make me feel like I have a secret treasure that is available to me anytime I wish to open the door. I count you and your blog among those treasures, Nihal. :-)

  7. I treasure my time at home where I can be creative or simply bask in the sunlight that pours through my living room windows. But I must work to pay the bills. I would like to be able to travel some also. Life is never simple enough.
