Nod and Smile?

-
Chi va piano, va sano e va lontano.

Montepulciano, in Siena of southern Tuscany

Those who go slowly, go safely and go far. Türkçe anlamıyla -in turkish- 'Hayatı hafife al, uzun yaşa' demektir.

Sometimes it is the only thing I wish I could do...

  1. On french we also say "qui veut voyager loin ménage sa monture"... It's a good way of Life, it's wisdom...

  2. @ Le blög: Oh bien sûr. In other words (in eng) it's a proper definition of 'slow and steady wins the race'. Lentement mais sûrement, d'accord:)

  3. This muts be a very effective phillosophy. We also say in Sapin "vísteme despacio que tengo prisa" (lit.= dress me slowly because i'm in a hurry) and it works. Unfortunately, sometimes we have to live life in the fast lane...

  4. Nihal, in Italy we have also the longer version:
"Chi va piano va sano e va lontano. Chi va forte va (incontro) alla morte".
    It's really a wise saying.
    Happy new week!
